LACASA Architects and Engineering Consultants is the lead Consultant of the new Prime Specialty Hospital, situated in a prime location at the center of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) Phase 2, Al Jaddaf. This nine-storey, 150-bed facility—covering 39,331.59 square meters is set to open in 2026 and will house dedicated centers for heart, lung, and cancer care. Designed with patient-focused architecture, the hospital features clean lines, ample natural light, and efficient spatial layouts to support healing and advanced clinical operations. A standout element of the project is the cancer treatment bunker, constructed with 2.5-meter-thick walls and a roof slab using high-density concrete. Built to meet stringent radiation shielding standards for linear accelerators, the bunker’s execution required advanced engineering, custom concrete mixes, and specialized formwork systems to ensure structural integrity and safety. The hospital is poised to deliver world-class tertiary care through cutting-edge technology and design excellence.
